Peer Review Policy
Frontiers in Social Sciences Research (FSSR) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, quality, and academic integrity in all published articles.
Process Overview
- Initial Screening – The Editor-in-Chief reviews each submission for scope, quality, and plagiarism.
- Reviewer Assignment – Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent experts in the field.
- Double-Blind Review –
- Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.
- Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.
- Evaluation Criteria – Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:
- Originality and contribution to knowledge
- Research design and methodology
- Clarity of arguments and structure
- Relevance to the field of social sciences
- Proper referencing (APA 7th edition)
- Decision – Based on reviewer reports, the editorial team decides:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Review Timeline
- The average review process takes 4–6 weeks.
- Authors will be notified promptly of editorial decisions.
Reviewer Ethics
- Reviews must be constructive, objective, and confidential.
- Reviewers must declare any conflict of interest and decline assignments if necessary.
This process ensures that only high-quality, original, and relevant research is published in the journal.
